just like he did not do in denver two weeks ago. what we heard from romney last night was very familiar. it's the same attacks he's using on the campaign trail, the same attacks he used two weeks ago in denver but this time the president was there and he was able to give that response, he was very forceful. he was very aggressive. democrats were, of course, very happy with how he came out. independents, those were the critical voters. it's interesting. we talked for the last couple of days about how both candidates would be reaching out to those undecided voters with maybe a more measured approach. didn't seem like it last night, paula and rob. that was a very feisty attack from both president obama and mitt romney. >> i think it's clear, karen, if you watch it, there's no love lost between the two so it's political and seems to be personal, as well. of course, the president took a lot of flack last time around for not mentioning 47% romney's infamous comments in that boca raton tape but did get to it toward the end. a strategy behi
